Inspiration arrives in my Garden with the rain

I have kinda moved on from the
beginning of this weeks mood , almost forcing myself to the reality of....... nothing really worth fighting for is worth it's weight on gold.

The things which are valuable to us and mean the world to our hearts and minds are those things we have worked for in earnest, in hard toil sweat and yes even tears. As  these things were worthy of our time effort and hard hard slog.

So I for the time being will hang on hold on and hold tight.

Upon glancing back over my journal pages some are here above, I realised I have a gift and an assignment  to use that gift to make the world we live in a more beautiful place, to connect with like minded souls and to encourage those who need it to give compassion where it's needed and to keep seeking divine inspiration.

Here I am holding on and I found my club ;)

Feeling Tired and a little burnt out

Having painted now for the last four years I seriously feel I ought to be further along the creative business journey than I am. And where I am is breaking even and maybe making a little bit to pay my hairdresser to cover up my greys!!!!

The others day I decided to invest in an online E book produced by the world famous Kelly Rae Roberts. In the sale the book still cost $130 Nz but on reading its worth every penny a little daunting actually a lot seems like you need to do heaps to get your creative business wether it's art, sewing making cakes or up doing recycled furniture on track to bring a success.

So today I feel like there's a lot I haven't done, things I haven't done well but all the while my art life has grown matured and become a whole lot more than it was 4 years ago. And that's a good thing right a very good thing. Now I just have to work with the tools Kelly has given me in her book and we shall see what happens.

To go with this present mood is a prayer series of pictures I did over the weekend. The above being called Life Force, we all have it in greater or lesser degree it's what keeps us going onwards towards out goals the dreams we have and the passion we wear, I am praying for a big dose of it right now to shift my feelings into a more positive light. Which would look like Joy below.

Here is the link to the E book http://kellyraeroberts.blogspot.co.nz/2013/12/ebooks-and-signedmatted-prints-on-sale.html?m=1

Are you strong enough to bear the Glory

There's been some questions asked big questions life changing in fact, prayers been said words declared over dreams and goals. Far reaching and out weighing anything I have achieved so far on my life journey. Jospeh Campbell tells us to follow our bliss if we want life to be rich deep and meaningful. Follow your bliss and doors will open. Follow your bliss and you'll get on your path your life track created especially for you at the beginning  of time.  Exciting isn't it. Its taken me half my life to reconnect with my bliss. Half my life searching out dreaming and discovering what I didn't want................ learning discernment out of the fragments of experience's I would much rather forget.

You know the saying God never gives us more than we can handle, well I think the flip side is that Gods giving also includes the goodies----------wealth, worldly success, power, influence etc. Remember the story of the talents. But are we ready to bear the Glory, I know I haven't been up until a few months ago. The journey of growing my bliss, talents one creative challenge at at time has been a long one, but I am ready, confidence grown and a trust in my abilities has arisen. So the prayers and questions are now being asked.

Believing that everyone's bliss is also their piece of the Kingdom of Heaven, come down and manifest here on Earth. So that every time we participate join up and collude with our bliss we release God, his presence his peace his healing and his love and much more his Glory. How many times have we waited for Spirit to move for us when in fact he waits to work with us?? Through our Bliss our talents...................... but we need to be ready to bear all of that glory God will pour out.............. we need to be ready to follow it run with it offer it and cherish it.

Its time to move forward.

Just a Little Reflection

"There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness but of power. They are messengers of overwhelming grief and of unspeakable love." Washington Irving

This is a journey I have just really begun, one which I hope will bring about a life change, a mind change a change for the better. Of late there has been many, many tears. Tears are not something I do, I normally dig my heals in and shout, get angry but never cry, ever. Since I was a very little girl this was my reaction to the things I found unfair the things that hurt and tore at my heart. I guess it was self protection, which I guess got me to the here and now. But I cann't do this any more with THAT reaction so I cry, like the little girl should have cried!!!

When I read the quote above I feel a huge relief that in fact I am not being weak by letting the tears fall ................I am being powerful. Really powerful as I let my head acknowledge the pain in my heart instead of dismissing it. The hurts, rejection, being looked over, the comments and being dissmissed are all there in every tear that falls. The unmet needs, desires, dreams, hope's are all there in those tears. However I find a strange thing happening, I feel lighter freer like a little feather, this feels awesome. And out of those tears comes my Art Work, cause I feel the safest when I create, as God holds my hand and I can see him on my canvas feel him blessing me, giving me a voice. So when you gaze upon my paintings you will find a piece of my soul and a whole lot of God.

More Than Enough

Does anyone recognize those feelings of not being enough!! Enough for those around you, your family, husband,  children, friends even!!! Can we be honest with ourselves and say  that we really do feel like this from time to time or day to day. I know this feeling can rob me of the joy there is in life. It can take a beautiful moment and change it into something we are not sure of.

Perhaps not sure of who we are, how valuable we are............... how much we mean to those around us because we just feel that something, anything is missing for us not to be enough!! I have lots of these time's but thank fully they are fleeting but they do come and go a lot, especially when I compare myself to others. I have to remind myself of all the positive's all the joy and laughter, my friends and then I run off to my art studio and create cause that's where I know I AM ENOUGH, that's my place my piece of Heaven on Earth..............................Whats yours do you have a place of restoration love peace joy and acceptance!!!
I would love to know !!!

We are mothers to our families, our friends, our neighbors, and to anyone needing nurturing.
And we are daughters to anyone offering comfort.
We are here to learn how to love, and be loved.

We fall asleep exhausted, but grateful.
We are whole.
We are alive.
And we are enough.

Compassion

"She not only saw a light at the end of the tunnel, she became that light for others"

Celebrate her compassion.~Kobi Yamada~

I Love this quote brings me joy, hope and a sense of purpose to all that hardship we can have in life which sometime's we never understand. A purpose and a destiny which guides others gives hope and helps bring about healing cause you've walked that very same path. As you walk a light radiates from your soul your life and guides those who need a lamp unto their path. We don't hide it mask it or pretend its not there we give it openly, expansively and  let it shine freely for those who want and need to receive it. We give insights into our life, share hard experiences............... give ourselves and share our journeys!!

What life experience's have you had....... what light do you shine to guide your friends family lover husband even the stranger in the coffee shop to help them reach their destiny. Is it bright can they feel it see it run with it can they reach up and take a hold of it and embrace their own fears, insecurities and feel lighter.  I do hope they can!

Brave Girls

Recently I discovered a wonderful way to encourage add strength and understanding to my days!! It came in a package easily opened just by the click of one's finger plus I did not have to move very far. But of course the best thing about it it's FREE!!! I love the web I love all that it has to offer me as Mum who stays close to home and doesn't own an Ipad!!

Here is a daily excerpt.........a little birdie told me from the Brave Girls website. http://www.facebook.com/BraveGirlsClub

Song Bird................Ruby Jude 2010

Dear Clever Girl,

You know so much more than you give yourself credit for. You have learned so many things that you have forgotten that you have already learned, and you have done so many more things than you let yourself remember.

It's easy to think you haven't made it very far, or that you don't know very much, or that everyone else is miles ahead of you...but beautiful friend....really really really think about all that you have done since you were a little girl. You have done SO MUCH, you have endured SO MUCH, you have learned SO MUCH and you have taught others SO MUCH.

It feels good sometimes to just think about what you know, and how you came to know it....especially the things deep in your heart that you know for absolutely sure...things that no one can ever take away from you.

Really think today about what you know, what you stand for...what you have learned and what you have taught...what you can share and what holds you together....the knowledge, wisdom and experiences that you have EARNED because you lived through them.

You are a phenomenal woman...do you remember now?...try not to forget again, ok?

You are so amazing.
xoxo

I absolutley love this and hope you do too,I find it heals, gives sets me straight and above all gives hope.

This weekend was full of so much goodness and gratitude. for the people in my life, the connections we share and the moments that we create together. it just is, and i love that. it is sometimes so easy to forget all that we have in such a fast paced materialistic world that influences in sometimes not the best ways. with so many distractions i often feel that it is a constant struggle to maintain focus and attention on the things i know matter. they can often get blurred in the dust and shadow of everything else. but i will continue to persevere and push forward and turn away the negative forces and influences that try to make their way towards me. life is full of little moments everyday that are just simply awesome. as the last week of august approaches i am excited for it. it is going to be a great busy week ahead.

Unconditional

Willing to experience aloneness,

I discover connection everywhere;

Turning to face my fear,

I meet the warrior who lives within;

Opening to my loss,

I gain the embrace of the universe;

Surrendering into emptiness,

I find fullness without end.

Each condition I flee from pursues me,

Each condition I welcome transforms me

And becomes itself transformed

Into its radiant jewel-like essence.

I bow to the one who has made it so,

Who has crafted this Master Game.

To play it is purest delight;

To honor its form--true devotion.

Ohh this poem above is beautiful I discovered it whilst online searching for bright colours for a project I am about to start!. My desire to create and play with the paints and scissors is pulling at my need to get some housework done!!! Its Saturday eve the kids are in bed and my night is free cause I have a feeling my husband has fallen asleep too...........................so off I fly not a moment longer cruising the net which I can do for hours, the iron will stay in the cupboard. Hope all of you have a peaceful weekend and enjoy whatever comes your way.

The Beautiful Jeweled Ocean.

I hope this picture make you feel happy, loved, full of life and refreshed for new things ahead. I find that since moving to New Zealand I am more and more in love with the sea. It gives and it takes, as waves wash the shore my soul feels lighter as I walk bare foot on the sand.

Live Out in the Open

The Village Green

I came from a small village that had a village green, with swings, slide's and a roundabout. A wide open space where kids went to play, Mums met up, different sports where played on the grass, Fete's even, car boot sales, bonfire's the whole shebang!............. It served our community and brought people together. When I think back, about time spent there, I think about the quote “It takes a village to raise a child.” Where is my village green now! Its hard to raise children all on our own and its something we were never meant to do and yes it does take community, living, loving and opening up to each other as we do life and raise our children.

But wait something stops us something gets in our way trips us up as we head out the door to the green. We remember that we haven't got it all together that we aren't Super Mom. The superwoman myth is so dangerous to our motherhood. It causes us to not ask for or allow ourselves to receive help and to deny when we feel vulnerable, needy, or afraid. It also puts up walls and barriers that keep us from reaching out to others and building a community that knows us for who we really are. We present what we want the world to see, the very best parts of who we think we are, but beneath it all:

We human being are all fundamentally the same, we all belong to a common broken humanity. We all have wounded, broken hearts. Each one of us need to feel appreciated and understood, we all need help. Jean Vaner

And to me that is what is most beautiful about us. What unites us all no matter how diverse we might seem to be, is that we all need to belong, we all need support. Why deny that? Embrace it, that is where our humanity lives and where compassion comes from. Our brokenness is our biggest strength. Wow thats powerful stuff, so full of power we can change lives if we stop hiding behind a mask. The mask that presents us at our best, which will eventually be our downfall because know one gets to meet the real you.

If you are feeling like you just can’t do it all and you’re all alone-reach out! Open up. Creating community is the biggest investment you will ever make for yourself . Build your local communities, connect with other people whose stories you care about, who you can be honest with, and who will be there for you when you are struggling. Be there for them. Stop trying to do it all alone, you will always feel like you are missing something and falling short. So whether you are a single mother struggling to fill the role of both mum and dad, or you have a large extended family, or a ton of supportive friends- it doesn’t matter. Your community is right there, waiting for you to lend a hand or ask for someone to hold yours. Both are wonderful, both are needed.

It is just as important to accept help as to offer it, community building is about reciprocity. A give and take. So if you are in a position of strength offer help, if you see someone struggling stop and see if they will accept support, just be there for each other. Sometimes when we give help we actually get the help that we need. It’s amazing that way.

I only have one caution-only offer what you are really able to give. Don’t offer because you think you should but don’t really want to do. Never give out of obligation or guilt. I don’t give because I want to feel good about myself, I give because I DO feel good about myself, because giving is it’s own reward and always teaches me something new. But also because I want our children to have a village and it’s up to us to make that happen. And I want my village green and its wide open space where together we an laugh and cry!
